What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. With Malik Monk out tonight, I will be locking De’Aaron Fox into my lineups. And with Tyrese Haliburton out, I love rounding out my lineups with Andrew Nembhard and T.J. McConnell. I will continue to fade Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been held under 62 fantasy points in 7 of his last 8 games.
headChopper: I am playing mid-stakes single-entry and 5-max GPPs in smaller field sizes. I’m waiting for value to open up, but as it stands, I’m avoiding the punt range, focusing instead on balanced builds. With three entries, one lineup may include an elite player like Jokic or Giannis, paired with a core of players in the $5,000-$6,000 range—a construction that should set me apart from the field.
tcsmith031: I’ll play a mix of 20-max and single-entry tournaments. I’m happy to lean into the cheap value from the Pacers and Kings, but it looks like the game with the most shootout potential (NOP/CHI) could go overlooked from an ownership standpoint. Really leaning into a game stack with expensive pieces from both sides, along with the value from the Pacers and Kings, makes for an interesting way to build in GPPs.
