What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. My plan of attack tonight is to be overweight on the Cavs. I know the Blazers have been tough defensively over the last few weeks, but the Cavs don’t appear to be getting enough ownership on this slate considering they are missing their top scorer, Donovan Mitchell. I like a handful of players here, but in particular, I want to be overweight on Darius Garland and Ty Jerome.

headChopper: I’ll be playing single-entry and small-field contests. Last night, I bubbled thanks to not playing an incredibly chalky DeAndre Jordan and watching him have a monster game—very frustrating. It just goes to show that more than any other sport, chalk smashes in the NBA. So I don’t mind eating some of the chalk, like Cam Payne or Scottie Pippen. I just need to get different at a spot or two in single-entry contests. Right now, that looks like an overpriced and low-pOWN% Alperen Sengun.

tcsmith031: I’ll play a few single-entry contests. It’ll be hard to overlook the cheap point guard chalk – namely Scotty Pippen, Ty Jerome, and Cameron Payne – but that’ll naturally dramatically lower the ownership for expensive players at the same position, including Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Darius Garland. Eating a couple of the popular punts and flipping the build to pay all the way up for SGA or Garland is one of my favorite GPP strategies.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
