NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, March 3

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Tyrese Maxey
headChopper: Tyrese Maxey
ncorfield8k: Tyrese Maxey

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I’m going to be in the single-entry and small-field tournament streets. We aren’t waiting on a ton of news, but that doesn’t mean that more players won’t get added to the NBA injury report throughout the day. I know there’s blowout risk in Orlando, but I love the spot for the Magic. They are without Anthony Black and Franz Wagner, yet they still have a massive team total thanks to a matchup against the Wizards. I’ll include one of Paolo Banchero or Desmond Bane in every lineup.

headChopper: I am playing 20 lineups in large-field tournaments. I plan on being overweight on OKC and Orlando players in those good matchups. I’m not scared to play a Chicago 3-point shooter and am leaning heavily toward Josh Giddey as of early afternoon. I’ll be underweight on Brandon Miller, as I prefer Miles Bridges in that matchup. I am also fading the Wizards unless news breaks and they are down to an extremely tight rotation.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – With 8 games all starting within an hour of each other, I’ll be glued to my computer until the final games lock, looking for any late-swap opportunities based on injury news or changes to NBA starting lineups. I’ll be heavy on the DAL/CHA game, which could have some big scores if it stays competitive.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
