What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I will be playing small-field tournaments. With Evan Mobley out for the Cavaliers, I want to be overweight on the Cavaliers. Jarrett Allen sees a solid uptick in usage and FP/minute production with Mobley off the floor, while Ty Jerome is expected to see an uptick in playing time.
headChopper: I’ll be playing one lineup tonight, primarily in 3-5 entry max contests with smaller fields, but I’ll also sprinkle it into some large-field GPPs. The build will lean more toward those smaller fields. I’m waiting on Rockets news—if their stars end up playing, they likely won’t be as highly owned as they would have been without last night’s rest and all the question marks. That’s a great way to get different. I’m also considering locking in a star player like Brunson or someone comparable at low pOWN%.
tcsmith031: I’ll have a single-entry build on both DraftKings and FanDuel. On FD, I plan to load up on the Lakers and Clippers, who are both in favorable matchups and missing key rotation pieces due to injury. On DK, the Cavs look like the best source of value with Evan Mobley out of the lineup, though I may pivot to some of the cheaper Bulls depending on what happens with Chicago’s injury news.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
