NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, April 1

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Paul George
TJ Zwarych: Tyrese Maxey
ncorfield8k: Tyrese Maxey

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I am going to eat the chalk on Philly (no Joel Embiid and an elite matchup vs. Washington), take the free square with Sandro Mamukelashvili, and then fill out the rest of my lineup with some contrarian plays. My favorite is Karl-Anthony Towns, who gets to face an undersized Memphis frontcourt.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and I’m going to load up on the IND/CHI game as much as I possibly can. Although both of these teams are out of playoff contention and trying to lose, they also both play at a fast pace with very little defense. I’ll ignore the Knicks against Memphis and fill out my lineups with Raptors, 76ers, and Rockets.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There is already some strong value, with more likely to open up. It will largely be a stars-and-scrubs slate, but I’ll be looking for players who could be going under-owned on both ends of the salary spectrum. And as usual, I’ll be watching our NBA starting lineups page and NBA injury report for potential late-swap opportunities.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
