NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, April 29
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Cade Cunningham
ncorfield8k: Cade Cunningham
tcsmith031: Alperen Sengun
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. With Kevin Durant out again, I want as much exposure to Houston’s starters as possible. My main lineup is going to have at least 4 of them. Amen Thompson is my favorite of the bunch, but I’m fine mixing and matching the other 4 starters, depending on your roster construction and available salary cap. While I like the spot for the Cavaliers as a whole, I don’t love any of their players individually. I will be fading Cleveland completely.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I will try to save spots for the late game and hope that Austin Reaves misses again. The secondary Lakers pieces won’t become the great values that they were early in the series, but they will largely become neutral values at depressed pOWN%. If Reaves ends up playing, there are several strong mid-priced plays on the Rockets to swap to. I will go into the slate with a lot of Donovan Mitchell, Alperen Sengun, and LeBron James. Some of that James will move to Sengun if Reaves plays.
tcsmith031: Single-entry GPPs for me tonight. The Rockets are the value team du jour with Kevin Durant out again, though it looks like the Lakers side of that game could go overlooked with Austin Reaves potentially returning to the lineup. If the field jumps off the LeBron James bandwagon as a result, he looks like a fabulous bring-back in GPPs with all of your Rockets. I expect James and the rest of the Lakers to play with a little more urgency in this one, as they have no desire to take the series back to Houston for a potential Game 6.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
