What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. My plan of attack is to load up on the 2 teams playing at home. They are both facing elimination and should have extremely tight rotations. I plan to roster 4+ Lakers, as they had 5 players play at least 40 minutes in Game 4.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I’ll play more game stacks than usual on such a small slate. I don’t want to commit to it, but I’m considering going over the field on a few Lakers bench pieces (e.g. Jordan Goodwin, Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent). It might not be the likeliest scenario, but it wouldn’t be shocking if head coach JJ Redick tries to get his starters a bit more rest after playing the entire 2nd half of the last game.
TJ Zwarych: On small slates like this, I typically just play 1 single-entry lineup, and my plan tonight is to stack up the second game (MIN/LAL). While I do like some pieces on the Rockets, I’m going to completely ignore the Warriors while loading up on Lakers and Wolves.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
