What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I want to be overweight on the Raptors, who are playing at home against the fastest-paced team in the league. Despite missing 3 of their best players (RJ Barrett, Jakob Poeltl, and Immanuel Quickley), they still have a team total that is 3 points higher than their season average.
Dean78904: I’ll focus on single-entry and smaller-field GPPs. There are some appealing spots that also have a severe threat of blowouts. With that in mind, I like playing the what-if game of if one of the NOP/DEN, CHI/MIN, and MEM/TOR games stays close and building a lineup with that in mind. No matter the core of a particular lineup I make, I expect to have at least one Timberwolves player and one Nuggets player in every lineup.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – This is a giant slate, and the trade deadline is looming. That makes it a great slate for saving some late swap optionality. I’ll be paying attention to news, starting lineups, and swapping frequently if necessary.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
