What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I’ll likely only build one lineup tonight and honestly don’t have a strategy going into the slate other than being overweight on the CHI/WAS game. These are 2 of the 4 fastest-paced teams in the NBA and the worst 2 teams in terms of points allowed per game.
headChopper: Tonight is a 3-lineup night for me. I’ll run those 3 lineups in large-field GPPs and sprinkle them into some 3-max contests as well. My focus will be on being overweight with a mix of Houston and Brooklyn players, building around those cores. Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green are my primary Rockets targets, while Nic Claxton and D’Angelo Russell are my top picks from Brooklyn. With the uncertainty surrounding these teams due to recent roster changes, I’m aiming to capitalize if I can nail the right combinations.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – It’s not a great night for late swapping, as all games start within an hour. With it being a smaller slate, I’ll game-stack more than usual. I particularly like stacking the CHI/WAS game, as both teams play at a fast pace and aren’t very good defensively.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
