What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I’m not going to be shy when it comes to my exposure to the Sixers. They have the best matchup on the slate (Wizards are 4th in pace and 30th in points allowed per game) and will be without Joel Embiid, Jared McCain, KJ Martin, Kyle Lowry, and Paul George. This is a classic ‘don’t overthink it’ spot.
Dean78904: My main focus is single-entry and small-field tournaments. There is just too much value in Philly to fully ignore it. However, I expect to cap my lineups at 3 players from the 76ers. This is somewhat tied to a pile of players who are currently listed as questionable that can fully open the slate up salary-wise, as stars-and-scrubs builds will likely be where I end up at lock.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There is already a lot of great value on this slate. More is likely to open up, with several stars currently questionable. It will be a stars-and-scrubs type of night for me. I probably won’t build with the expectation of late swapping, as the early games are very strong tonight, but I will stay ready to swap if things change post-lock.
