Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Victor Wembanyama – I’m fine with any of the four key Jazz players here as well, but I’ll side with Wemby as my favorite play on the slate. We have a ton of value to choose from, the Spurs are going to be without De’Aaron Fox, and this is a truly elite matchup. The Grizzlies are one of the worst defensive teams in basketball, and they have hardly any bigs on the roster. Wemby should have a monster game on the glass, he should get plenty of open looks, and he should be able to rack up blocks and steals.

Dean78904: Luka Doncic – Luka is the hottest player in the league, as he has now won the NBA Player of the Week award in back-to-back weeks. In the month of March, Luka is averaging 36.5 points, 37 minutes, and 66 DK points per game, and the Lakers are actively trying to win games, so this ridiculous role should continue. The tanking Pacers have the NBA’s worst defensive rating in their last 15 games and are the 3rd-best matchup for Combo Guards according to our Defense vs. Archetype Matchup tool. We have enough cheap plays to make it easy to spend up on at least one big stud, and Luka is my top target.

ncorfield8k: Luka Doncic – Doncic has the highest projection on the slate, and he’s easy to fit into lineups. The Pacers have the worst defensive rating in the league over their last 10 games while ranking 20th in pace. It’s the 3rd-best matchup for a Combo Guard in our Defense vs. Archetype tool.
