NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, March 16

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Josh Giddey
headChopper: Josh Giddey
TJ Zwarych: Josh Giddey

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. A lot of the slates over the last few weeks have had very obvious value plays, but the ones that are garnering projected ownership tonight are far from sure things. I like the idea of being a little different with my values by targeting players like Ryan Nembhard, Will Richard, and Jalen Smith. I am also going to get a little different with the rest of my lineup, as I love the spot for the Magic. They have an elite matchup against the Hawks. Despite being shorthanded, they aren’t garnering much projected ownership.

headChopper: I am building 1 lineup in small-field tournaments. I like some of the expensive players who are drawing big pOWN% early in the day, but the cheap players being projected for heavy ownership are the ones I can fade. Cam Spencer and Gary Payton II are a couple of those cheap options I can avoid. We’ll see how the injuries play out as we get closer to the slate locking.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll just play one lineup in single-entry contests, and I like the idea of stacking up the DAL/NOP game. I’ll play the cheap Mavericks, Marvin Bagley III and Ryan Nembhard, while running it back with Trey Murphy III on the other side. I likely won’t play anybody above $9,000 on either site.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
