NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, December 15

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: While it’s hard to ignore the massive total in the WAS-IND game, I actually have more interest in the ATL-TOR game. It features a total of 241.5 points. These teams faced each other on Wednesday and combined for 263 points.

TastefulTides: The Pacers / Wizards opened with a 256.5 total and is now up to 259.5 total. These are the two fastest-paced teams by a fairly wide margin. The Wizards rank dead last in defensive rating and the Pacers rank 28th in that same metric.

eys819: The Celtics are likely to be without their top three bigs against Orlando. Al Horford and Luke Kornet have been ruled out, and Kristaps Porzingis is listed as doubtful. Further complicating the situation, Jaylen Brown is also listed as questionable. Boston may provide us some value that is so far lacking on this slate.

tcsmith031: Joel Embiid has played 20 games so far this season. He hasn’t logged a single fourth-quarter minute in 7 of those games, including Wednesday’s easy win over the same Pistons team he’ll face tonight. Regardless, the reigning league MVP is still leading the league in points per game (33.8) while ranking fifth in rebounds (11.4).

Bobby Gomes: The Pacers are -8 road favorites against the Wizards tonight. These two teams are the fastest-paced teams in the league, and the implied point total is sitting at 258 o/u. On the Wizards side, Kyle Kuzma has been the only upside play, but the Pacers, starting with Tyrese Haliburton, have multiple pieces we’ll want tonight in this track meet.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
