NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, March 1

Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Lamar Stevens and/or Gregory Jackson – The Grizzlies are going to soak up a ton of ownership tonight. Vince Williams, Jordan Goodwin, Ziaire Williams, and Santi Aldama are all expected to be popular. While they are all strong options, there’s no reason why Stevens and/or Jackson can’t be the difference-makers here. Stevens has averaged 1.04 DK / 1.08 FP/min, and Jackson has averaged 0.96 DK / 0.95 FD FP/min. I prefer Stevens on DraftKings, as we don’t have late swap tonight and Jackson is currently questionable.

squirrelpatrol: Luka Doncic – Luka is expensive on FanDuel at $12,600 and he can’t be late swapped out of lineups on DraftKings tonight. Since January 17th, Luka has averaged 71.9 DK points and averaged a triple-double with 36.0 points, 10.8 assists, and 10.2 rebounds per game.

eys819: Anthony Edwards – This is risky on DK (no late swap) if we do not get news before lock, as Edwards is listed as questionable on the injury report. However, he has played through the Q tag over the last several games and has not missed a game since early December. The upside is tremendous against a Sacramento team that plays fast and ranks 20th in defensive rating. Edwards is currently under 10% pOWN% on FD, and he likely ends up with less than that on DK if we do not get news on his official status before lock.

Bobby Gomes: Domantas Sabonis – We have Sabonis a shade over 10% pOWN% in the early afternoon, which is great considering he is near the top in projected FPTS. The spread in this game is close, and the masses will worry about Rudy Gobert. Sabonis gives us that safe floor of 50+ FPTS in a game that should play close. He is firmly in play on both sites tonight.
