NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, March 15

Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Brandon Miller – A matchup against the Suns isn’t perfect, but Phoenix is playing in the second half of a back-to-back, and the Hornets are playing at home. More importantly, Charlotte will be without LaMelo Ball, Mark Williams, Cody Martin, Seth Curry, and Bryce McGowens. Miller boasts a 23% usage rate on the season, which could be higher tonight, given all of the injuries.

squirrelpatrol: Nikola Jokic – Jokic is tough to get to on a day when we don’t have much value, but with his slate-breaking potential, low ownership, and excellent matchup, I’ll force him into some of my lineups tonight. Jokic ranks 3rd in the league in points in the paint, and the Spurs allow the 4th-most points in the paint and the 2nd-most rebounds per game in the NBA.

eys819: Victor Wembanyama – The lack of value is going to make it uncomfortable to spend up for Wemby, but he has as much upside as anyone on the slate not named Jokic. Wemby has played 30+ minutes consistently of late and he will need a big performance for the Spurs to keep this one close. The matchup is not great against the slow-paced Nuggets, but Wemby’s elite stocks potential gives him huge upside in any matchup.

Bobby Gomes: Zion Williamson – With numerous lopsided spreads and low game totals tonight, the LAC/NOP game represents a preview of what a playoff game in the West could look like. Zion has been steady over his last 3 games, playing in the 35-minute range and filling the stat sheet at both ends of the court. He’s underpriced, and he’ll likely go overlooked on DK despite it only being a 6-game slate.
