NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, November 17

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: This is one of those slates where all of your morning research could be worthless by the time lineups lock. I’m counting 12 players listed as questionable, including the likes of Gordon Hayward, RJ Barrett, Joel Embiid, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kristaps Porzingis, Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, DeMar DeRozan, and LeBron James. My advice is to enjoy your Friday afternoon and get ready to grind an hour or so before the slate starts.

TastefulTides: We are going to see a ton of news between now and right up to lock. Regardless, there are a couple of spots that are going to go overlooked. The Hornets, Spurs, Wizards, and Jazz are four of the five worst defenses in the league, and we need to be getting exposure to their opponents.

eys819: The Sixers currently rank 11th in pace after years of being one of the slowest teams in the NBA. Tonight, they get a matchup with Atlanta, who is currently 3rd in pace, and there is just a 1-point spread in this game. Some value pieces from the game will be popular, but stars like Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Trae Young, and Dejounte Murray all project for less than 10% pOWN% on FD and less than 15% on DK.

tcsmith031: The Kings were the NBA’s top-ranked offense last season, averaging 117 points per 100 possessions. So far this season, the Spurs are 29th in defensive rating, conceding nearly 117 points per 100 possessions. The Kings are 8-point favorites in San Antonio, but that spread may not be quite wide enough.

Bobby Gomes:
The PHI/ATL game has the 3rd-highest total (235), and it’s nearly a pick’em (Philly is -1). Both teams are top 6 in offensive rating, and both are top 10 in pace. The centerpieces in this game are Joel Embiid and Trae Young, but there are NUMEROUS secondary pieces on both sides to create game stacks.”

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
