NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, November 24
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
Notorious: There are 2 games in particular that I don’t have a ton of interest in. The Heat and Knicks are both 25th or lower in pace and both in the top 8 in defensive rating. The same goes for the Nuggets and Rockets, as both teams are in the bottom 4 in pace and in the top 10 in defensive rating. All 4 teams are projected to score well below their season averages.
squirrelpatrol: With eight games on the slate, the first two games of the night have major injury questions (Zach LaVine and Bam Adebayo) but low totals (both games with totals under 217 points). Two of the games at 8:00 PM ET have totals of 243 or higher. It may be a night to skip the first two games and wait for starting lineups for the 8:00 PM ET games, unless LaVine or Adebayo sit. In which case, pieces of that game become very relevant.
eys819: The Pacers have allowed at least 124 points in 6 straight games. They have played at the fastest pace in the league and rank dead last in defensive rating. However, they also rank first in offensive rating and every game they are involved in has the potential to turn into a shootout.
tcsmith031: Tyrese Haliburton leads the Pacers in usage rate (26.3%), while he leads the entire NBA with a colossal assist rate north of 46%. It all adds up to a career-best 1.6 DK FPPM rate, and tonight the Pacers will face a Pistons team ranked 23rd in defensive efficiency.
Bobby Gomes: The Pacers are 1st in pace, and the Pistons are 11th. The spread is a bit large, as the Pacers are -9 home favorites. Tyrese Haliburton (questionable) potentially sitting could not only free up value, but keep the game closer too. Jalen Duren will be playing, which gives the Pistons their frontcourt centerpiece back.
