NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, December 4
Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
Notorious: This is sort of a perfect scenario for the Celtics. They are without one of their best players (Kristaps Porzingis), and they draw a matchup against the Pacers, who are ranked 1st in pace, 24th in rebounding rate, and 29th in defensive rating. The Celtics have a team total that is 5.6 points higher than their season average.
squirrelpatrol: With 4 teams on the slate for the In-Season Tournament Quarterfinals, 3 of the teams rank top 12 in pace: Indiana (1), Sacramento (8), and New Orleans (12). The Celtics are the other team in the Quarterfinals, ranking 23rd in pace.
tcsmith031: The Pacers are now 1st in the league in both pace and offensive rating, while they’ve dipped to dead last in defensive rating. This is officially the Coors Field of NBA matchups, which explains why the Celtics’ 123.25 implied team total is the highest on tonight’s slate.
TastefulTides: On DK, Tyrese Haliburton is projected for 15% ownership and currently has 20% Opto%. On a 2-game slate, it’s rare to get such good positive leverage on such an explosive player.
Bobby Gomes: We have a 2-game In-Season Tournament slate tonight! Both games should play fast, and both games have high totals and close spreads. The single-elimination tournament is going to start feeling like real playoffs. I am looking at the Pacers, who are 1st in pace, and that continued this past weekend after dropping 144 points WITHOUT Tyrese Haliburton. The Celtics will be without Kristaps Porzingis, and that will free up opportunities for the likes of Al Horford and Derrick White again.
