NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, February 4

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: The Raptors’ defense has cratered since the team traded away OG Anunoby and Pascal Siakam. Toronto is yielding nearly 122 points per 100 possessions since Siakam’s departure in mid-January, which is the 6th-worst mark in the league in that span.

Krayton: Anthony Edwards is still leading the Minnesota offense in usage at 32%. However, his price on DK is now down to $8,300. He makes a great GPP option tonight at under 10% projected ownership.

TastefulTides: The Hornets are dead last in defensive rating and have to face the Pacers, who are number one in offensive rating. The Pacers are also a bottom-five defensive team and play at the second-fastest pace in the league.

TJ Zwarych: The Jazz have an implied total of 6.4 points higher than their season average, while the Hornets boast one 8.4 points higher than their average. No other team on the slate has an implied total more than 2.1 points higher than their season average, while multiple teams are projected to score below well below their averages.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Epignosis
Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
