NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, February 13

Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Anthony Davis – The Lakers aren’t getting enough ownership tonight. They have been great at home and have the best matchup on the slate. Davis is checking in with sub-20% ownership projections on both FanDuel and DraftKings. He gets to face the Pistons, who are 7th in pace and 29th in defensive rating this season. Davis has been volatile recently but has topped 60 fantasy points in 4 of his last 11 games.

squirrelpatrol: Cade Cunningham – Cunningham has been playing full minutes for the Pistons since returning in late January after missing three weeks with an injury. Over 4 February games, Cunningham is averaging more assists (8.3 assists per game) and fewer turnovers (2.3) than any other month this season. Tonight the Pistons are playing a Lakers team that plays at the 6th-fastest pace in the NBA this year in the game with the 2nd-highest point total on the night.

headChopper: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. There will be plenty of value tonight, we already have a ton in Miami with more possibly on the way. It becomes a matter of how you want to spend that excess salary. SGA is one of the better DFS producers so far this season, and we get him tonight at a projected 7% on DK with a minuscule 2% on FD. OKC is a good team that doesn’t get blown out often, and Orlando, playing at home, should be able to avoid being blown out. This means a tight game where SGA will see full rotations and plenty of minutes.

Stevietpfl: Kevin Durant – Durant has at least 31.5% usage in four of his last five games. Not only is his usage up right now but he’s been more active with assists and rebounds lately. He has at least 8 rebounds in 4 of his last 5 games. He also has at least 7 assists in 5 of his last 7 games. The Kings rank 30th in opponent 3-point percentage and 27th in opponent true shooting percentage. This is a fantastic spot for Kevin Durant, and hopefully, he can stay hot tonight.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
