NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, April 10

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: For me, this slate is more about picking your favorite superstars than your favorite values. There are some extremely obvious plays on the Grizzlies, and there could be some extremely obvious plays on the Spurs if Victor Wembanyama is out. If you pick the right superstars, your lineups will be in great shape.

squirrelpatrol: Memphis has the lowest implied point total on the slate tonight but the highest team ownership due to their limited roster. Oklahoma City has the highest implied point total on the slate but some of the lowest ownership due to some uncertainty on who will be active for the team.

headChopper: Milwaukee is still the #2 seed, but they are only 2 games ahead of having to play the 1st Round on the road. That’s how tight the playoff seeding is this season. In 73 games this season with Giannis Antetokounmpo playing, Bobby Portis has averaged 26.2 DK / 25.6 FD points per game. In 6 games when Giannis did not play, Portis has averaged 42.3 DK / 40.5 FD points per game.

Stevietpfl: Like I said yesterday, the biggest edge in NBA DFS right now is following the news and adjusting lineups until (and after) lock. There are going to be unexpected players who get ruled out, so using projections and CourtIQ is the best thing you can do this week.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Epignosis
Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
