NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, December 27

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: With Brooklyn resting a bunch of key players in the second half of the back-to-back, I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Bucks hold out Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is currently listed as questionable. Here are the FP/min and usage differences for the key players on Milwaukee when Giannis is off the floor this season:

Khris Middleton: +0.17 DK, +0.15 FD, +11% usage
Damian Lillard: +0.27 DK, +0.26 FD, +9% usage
Bobby Portis: +0.06 DK, +0.05 FD, +2% usage
Malik Beasley: +0.15 DK, +0.13 FD, +1% usage
Brook Lopez: +0.07 DK, +0.06 FD, +2% usage

squirrelpatrol: The OKC Thunder give up the 4th-most rebounds per game and have the second-worst rebounding differential in the NBA, putting Knicks big men like Julius Randle in good position to grab a couple of extra boards.

headChopper: Of all the players in the NBA that have logged at least 300 minutes this season, Paul Reed has the 2nd-highest foul rate per 36 minutes.

Stevietpfl: With Simmons, Johnson, Walker, Claxton, and Dinwiddie off the floor, Thomas, Bridges, Smith Jr., and Sharpe receive the biggest bumps in productions and usage. Sharpe is averaging 1.42 fantasy points per minute. Thomas is at 1.26, Bridges is at 1.03, and Smith Jr. is at 1.01.

TastefulTides: The last time Milwaukee and Brooklyn met, Cam Thomas put up 45 real-life points and played over 41 minutes. The Nets are going to very shorthanded, and we still have the status of Dorian Finney-Smith up in the air. I wouldn’t hesitate chasing another big game from Thomas in this matchup, despite the small sample size.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
