NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, February 14

h4. Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Luka Doncic – Despite more value than we know what to do with tonight, Doncic is currently projected for less than 5% ownership on both FanDuel and DraftKings. He has topped 70 fantasy points in three of his last four games and draws the best matchup on the slate. Washington is 2nd in pace, 20th in 3-point percentage allowed, and 24th in defensive rating this season. The Mavericks have a team total that is 8.1 points higher than their season average.

squirrelpatrol: Brandon Ingram – Zion Williamson is questionable tonight, but even if Zion is in, I’ll aim to be over the field on Brandon Ingram. Washington is no longer giving up the most points per game in the NBA on the season, but they’re still giving up the second-most points per game, as well as the most rebounds per game and the most assists per game. Ingram is averaging 21.7 points / 7.2 assists / 5.1 rebounds per game in the month of February and New Orleans is playing at home tonight as a 13-point favorite.

headChopper: Bam Adebayo – Miami will once again be down several pieces tonight, and Bam will take on bigger responsibilities. Last night, he grabbed a triple-double, and tonight, he gets a better matchup with the Embiid-less 76ers. The price tag is still well below the elite players on the slate, and the ownership projections have him at well below 10% on every site. He makes for a great pivot at the center position to the very chalky players like Jokic and Unibrow.

tcsmith031: Tyrese Haliburton – It looks like we’ll have enough cheap value out there to make the stars-and-scrubs build viable. Haliburton got up to 34 minutes in the last game, so we’re projecting close to full burn for him tonight in Toronto. The matchup is also terrific, as the Raptors have an ugly 122.4 defensive rating since January 1st. Haliburton is still averaging a stellar 1.54 DK FP/minute this season, and his salaries have dipped around the industry of late.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
