NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, February 7

Who is your top contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Terry Rozier – It has taken some time, but Rozier finally looks comfortable on his new team. Over the last 4 games, he has averaged 35 fantasy points in only 32 minutes of action per contest. He has averaged 7 assists during that stretch and has still taken 12+ shot attempts in most games. Ownership shouldn’t be an issue tonight, even though he draws an elite matchup against the Spurs, who are 5th in pace, 25th in 3-point percentage allowed, and 24th in defensive rating.

squirrelpatrol: De’Aaron Fox – The Kings should see heavy ownership tonight, but it’s well deserved. Detroit gives up the most steals per game and the most points off turnovers in the NBA this season. De’Aaron Fox ranks 3rd in the NBA in steals per game and 20th in points off turnovers.

headChopper: Keegan Murray – Kevin Huerter looks like he is going to be chalk on both sites. At his price tag, that could be very bad chalk. I want a pivot on the same team that could take advantage of that good matchup and possibly benefit from Huerter busting. Murray’s projected ownership numbers, along with his upside, jump off the page to me as the leverage off of Huerter chalk.

Stevietpfl: Tobias Harris – With Embiid, Covington, and Batum off the floor this season, Harris has a 24% usage rate, which is a 3.3% increase. He’s averaging 1.15 fantasy points per minute. If we add Maxey to that list, Harris is averaging 1.25 fantasy points per minute. I hope the Maxey news doesn’t come out early, and we can take advantage of Harris at a lower ownership.
