NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, November 1

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

Notorious: The three teams with the best differentials between their implied totals and their average points per game are the Rockets (+12.0), Raptors (+10.3), and Heat (+9.8). The three teams with the worst differentials are the Nets (-13.8), Pacers (-13.8), and Kings (-11.8). I’ll also note that we are waiting on a number of key injuries, so building lineups early in the day may prove to be fruitless.

tcsmith031: Ben Simmons is finally healthy and back to his stat-stuffing ways. Even with limited usage, he’s posted back-to-back double-doubles, and he’s averaging 1.21 DK points per minute with Cam Johnson and Nic Claxton off the floor. He’ll have the ball in his hands plenty tonight with Spencer Dinwiddie out, and he’s projected to play 34 minutes. There’s a lot to like about Simmons here.

squirrelpatrol: Last year Luka Doncic averaged the most DK points per game in the NBA, at 59.9, more than Nikola Jokic (59.2), Giannis Antetokounmpo (57.3), and Joel Embiid (56.6). This year Doncic is averaging 75.6 DK points per game. When Kyrie Irving is off the court this season, Doncic averages an additional 1.4 DK points per 36 minutes.

headChopper: In 102 minutes on the floor this season, Alperen Sengun has a ~25% usage rate. That’s 2nd on the team to only Jalen Green. He leads the team with the highest assist rate. He leads the team in points and rebounding per game, although he is taking only the 3rd-most FGAs per game. He really is becoming Baby Jokic.

stevietpfl: Last season, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a 38.9% usage rate, while averaging 1.78 fantasy points per minute. He has a 35.5% usage rate and is averaging 1.52 fantasy points per minute over the first three games this season. While these numbers are still great, it seems to hurt his ceiling at his current price tag.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
