We have a special Wednesday night edition of Hittin’ The Nuts today, with an 8-game slate much bigger than our typical Tuesday or Thursday slate of games. Along with more games comes more injury news, with major injury announcements shaking up the slate throughout the morning and afternoon (while our player pricing stayed the same of course). Players who are out since it seems like pricing was set include Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMar DeRozan, and Darius Garland, while Kyrie Irving, Dennis Schroder, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and RJ Barrett are all listed as Questionable.

I normally lean towards more expensive players in this top section, but the value opening up as some major players sit is shaking up my article along with the slate. Giannis has one of the biggest impacts on the NBA, and his absence should boost the production of almost everyone in a Milwaukee uniform tonight. Portis averaged 1.28 DK points per minute with Giannis off the court last season (a 0.06 per minute increase) and he should see more minutes tonight particularly if he draws his first start of the season.
