Hittin' The Nuts: Squirrelpatrol's NBA Lineup Advice for Thursday, November 9th

Want to hit the nuts and take down 1st place in these massive contests posted by FanDuel and DraftKings? Who better to walk you through their favorite NBA DFS picks than Squirrelpatrol! Undoubtedly one of the best DFS players in the game today, Squirrelpatrol has accumulated 90+ Live Final seats, won the FanDuel 2021 World Fantasy Basketball Championship for $500,000, and most recently, took down the NFL Milly Maker in Week 2. Should we roster the chalk picks? How off-the-board should we get in large-field tournaments? Squirrel answers all of these questions and more below!
We have another small Thursday primetime slate tonight, with two games on NBA TV tonight following last night’s chaotic 14-gamer. We tip things off at 7PM with the Milwaukee Bucks in Indiana facing the Pacers in a game with a 243 point total and the Bucks favored by 3 points. Following that game at 9:30PM we have the Hawks traveling to Orlando for a game against the Magic with a 231 point total and Atlanta favored by 3.5.
We have the least amount of injury concerns tonight that I’ve seen all season, with Markelle Fultz being listed as Questionable for the Magic in the second game of the night as the only noteworthy item on the injury report for both games. Hopefully we can keep our Thursday surprise-free without anything popping onto the injury list throughout the day. Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.
NBA DFS Picks: Lineup Advice for Squirrelpatrol’s ‘Hittin’ The Nuts’ (November 9th)
High Flyers
Who are the players I’m picking first for my squad? These guys are the first selections for both my cash game and tournament lineups, and I’ll sacrifice elsewhere, if need be, to ensure I get them in:
Giannis Antetokounmpo
FanDuel: $10,600
DraftKings: $10,700

I’d love to get different here, but Giannis is the highest-projected player by a few points on a 2-game slate where salary isn’t too restrictive. He only played 22 minutes last night due to his ejection, and this should be a close game, so he should get full run here. With the pricing, it’s still possible to get Giannis and one other big spend-up, so it’s very difficult to leave him off your lineups unless playing for a blowout/injury scenario.
