NBA DFS Preseason Primer: Monday, October 7th

Hello Grinders. It’s my favorite time of the year, NBA Preseason DFS. Preseason is a different beast than the regular season in that we’re scraping for information on the Internets and finding any nugget we can use to help us with roster construction. I will admit NBA Preseason DFS has gotten harder over the seasons where information is now much more easily found, but we can still be rewarded for our diligence of searching articles, beat reports and tweets on expected minutes and rotations.

In terms of general strategy, don’t be afraid to leave some salary on the table if you like your team, and don’t be afraid to roster bench players in the first week of preseason. As we get closer to the actual season we’ll start to see minutes and rotations get tighter like my abs, but with teams early in the preseason right now we’re more likely to see coaches expand their rotations and get a look at the players fighting for a roster spot.
