NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Friday, November 17th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Friday everyone! We have officially made it to the weekend.
I am personally seeking redemption after some rough outcomes for my prop bets last night. All four of my bets missed by one assist, one rebound, or three rushing yards. As always, if you want to check out my daily bets along with a bunch of other experts, head over to ScoresAndOdds. I might be coming off of a bad night, but the team has been on fire all season.
As for tonight, we have 11 games on the schedule. It looks like we will be busy on the injury front, as I see 12 players that are listed as questionable. And more likely than not, more will get added to the injury report throughout the day. It’s good to study the matchups and start on lineup construction, but building full lineups early in the day is a fruitless venture on these large slates. One or injuries can change the entire slate and we are waiting on 12 of them.
Let’s head into the weekend on a good note. Cheers!

Team Previews
Milwaukee Bucks (at CHA): The Bucks have recently been without Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but they keep winning games. Giannis is listed as questionable tonight, as is MarJon Beauchamp. A matchup against the Hornets is one to exploit, as Charlotte is ranked 10th in pace and dead last in defensive rating. The Bucks have an implied total of 122.8 points, which is the 2nd highest of the slate. We’ll have to monitor Giannis throughout the day, as Milwaukee becomes a potential stack if he sits again.
Charlotte Hornets (vs.. MIL): The Hornets have already ruled out Terry Rozier and have listed Gordon Hayward and Brandon Miller as questionable. They were both forced to miss Wednesday’s game and we saw spot starts from JT Thor and Theo Maledon. A matchup against the Bucks would have been brutal last season, but Milwaukee is 9th in pace and 24th in defensive rating. This should be one of the best game environments of the slate and one of the best to stack depending on injuries.
