I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a nice little break from NBA DFS. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, so we should all have a little more NBA in our hearts on Black Friday. We have a bit of a split slate today, as there are 2 early games and 8 games that tip-off at 7:30 PM ET or later. We’ll focus most of our attention on the main slate, but will cover the early games in the team previews.
We’ll keep the intro short and sweet and dive right into today’s games.

Team Previews
Boston Celtics (at ORL): This game tips off at 2:30 PM ET, so keep that in mind if you are playing the early slate. The Celtics have the best record and the best point differential in the NBA this season. They travel to Orlando to take on the Magic, who are ranked 23rd in pace, 7th in rebounding rate, and 2nd in defensive rating. The Celtics are projected to score 3.1 points fewer than their season average. Despite the tough matchup, they are playing on a small slate and are expected to be without Jrue Holiday.
Orlando Magic (vs. BOS): The Magic have won 5 games in a row and are quietly up to 2nd place in the Eastern Conference standings. They have dominated teams on the defensive end of the floor and face a Celtics team that has done the same (4th in points allowed, 2nd in defensive rating). The Magic have the 2nd lowest team total on the early slate, but are still without Markelle Fultz and Wendell Carter.
