NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Friday, November 3rd

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Friday everyone!
We made finally made it to the weekend. I am a little worse for the wear after coming down with COVID, but I’ll do my best Michael Jordan flu game impression and battle through. I have always said that my favorite slates in NBA were the balanced ones with 6-10 games, and we haven’t had many of those this season. I’m looking forward to tonight’s 7-game slate, both from a content standpoint and a playing standpoint.
Are any other parents lost with the slang kids use these days? I’ve had to ask my now 8-year-old to give me a tutorial, so I can be one of the cool dads. I now know terms like sus, rizz, yeet, no cap, bet, mid, and bussin. If you don’t have kids, these terms are not made up. I wouldn’t say they are real words, but they are being used as such. Anyway, I’m now offering slang tutoring sessions in between DFS slates. DM if interested.
I’ll do my best to work all of these terms into the team breakdowns.

Team Previews
Cleveland Cavaliers (at IND): The Cavaliers are 2-3 to start the season but have dealt with a number of injuries. We have to keep an eye on their injury report once again, as Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen are both listed as questionable. If they are short-handed again, they will be a a top team to target given their matchup. The Pacers are 2nd in pace and dead last in defensive rating. Even with the question marks, the Cavaliers have an implied total that is 10 points higher than their season average. No cap.
