A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.

Merry Christmas!

I honestly feel like this is my second Christmas. All of the family went over to my dad’s house yesterday to open up presents from cousins and presents from Grandma and Grandpa. I couldn’t believe how many presents were opened the day before Christmas. And to top it off, Grandpa surprised everyone with a family trip to Disney World. He failed to mention such a trip to Grandma, which did not go over too well, but the kids were screaming and jumping up and down for a solid five minutes straight.

As the Santa Claus in my household, how am I supposed to top a trip to Disney World? I’m excited and all, but I try my best to make my son work for the things that he wants in life. I want to instill in him the importance of hard work and that the end goal is better when you earn it. Christmas is obviously a different story, but I’m not too thrilled with this level of spoiledness (probably not a word, but hey it’s Christmas). I shouldn’t complain. He’s the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. I just want to keep him that way.

Even though this slate is getting overshadowed a bit by the NFL, I can’t wait for a full day of basketball. There’s something special to having the same tradition each year and one of mine is sweating basketball while enjoying all of the Christmas festivities. I will be making the rounds tomorrow, so I won’t be able to update the rankings tables after lineup lock. However, I will continue to post injury news as it is released. Let’s dive into the Santa slate!

Team Previews

Milwaukee Bucks (at NYK): We kick off the slate with the Bucks, who have won 7 games in a row and 9 of their last 10 outings. They continue to climb up the Eastern Conference standings. They travel to the ‘Big Apple’ to take on the Knicks in what should be a pace-down game for Milwaukee. The market doesn’t seem to mind the matchup, as the Bucks have a team total of 122.8 points, which is the highest of the slate and close to their season average.

New York Knicks (vs. MIL): The Knicks are 4 games above .500 on the season and have a solid 7-4 record at home. They host the red-hot Bucks, who have been an above-average matchup for fantasy production this season. Milwaukee is ranked 4th in pace and 16th in defensive rating. The Knicks enter this game with a team total that is 4.7 points higher than their season average.
