So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Monday if there is such a thing!
The NFL season is officially over. Congrats to Chiefs fans and congrats to the Swifties out there. It ended up being an incredible game after a slow start. My Twitter bubble is fairly small, but it seems like some loved the halftime show, some hated it, and some were indifferent. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I’m also aware that nostalgia is a hell of a drug. All of Usher’s songs took me back to times in middle school and high school.
I am contractually obligated to let everyone know that Tiger Woods is in the field this week for The Genesis Invitational. This is one of the best golf events of the year, largely due to the stacked field and the course. Riviera Country Club is one of the best venues on TOUR. This is a great week to try our premium golf content if you aren’t already a member.
The NBA All-Star Break begins on Friday, so we only have games four days this week. As for tonight, there are 10 games on the schedule. As we’ve seen often on these large slates, FanDuel and DraftKings have decided to keep the late game off their main slate. This means we have a 9-game main slate on tap tonight. We don’t have any teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back, but the Bucks and Wolves are playing on the first half of a back-to-back.

Team Previews
Indiana Pacers (at CHA): The Pacers have won 6 of their last 10 games and are back up to 6th in the Eastern Conference standings. Tonight they travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets, who are 27th in rebounding rate, 29th in 3-point percentage allowed, and dead last in defensive rating. The Pacers have a total that is slightly higher than their season average. Jalen Smith has been ruled out, while Tyrese Haliburton is listed as questionable. Haliburton has been limited since returning from injury but did play 29 minutes in the last game. If he’s active and sees 30 minutes tonight, he could easily pay off his discounted price point in this matchup. Here is who stands to benefit if Haliburton is unable to suit up:
