March Madness is in full swing, while the MLB season gets underway in full later this week. There’s still money to be made in the NBA streets, though, and we’ve got 6 games to talk about on the main slate for Saturday night. While there are a few games with fairly wide point spreads, the quality of the games doesn’t look quite as gross as we’ve seen the past few nights. The Toronto-Washington game in particular should be quite the sight with 2 of the league’s worst and most injury-riddled teams going toe-to-toe. However, just 2 of the 6 games on the slate tonight feature a double-digit spread.

Let’s dive right in, shall we?

News Updates

Here’s where I’ll provide news updates leading up to lock.

Team Previews

Sacramento Kings (at ORL): The Kings are listed as 3-point underdogs in Orlando, as they continue to play without Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles. We’ve seen Keon Ellis start the past couple of games in Huerter’s spot, while De’Aaron Fox (+1.7%) benefits the most from a usage standpoint. I don’t hate the idea of targeting Fox or Domantas Sabonis at what should be relatively low ownership, but the matchup against a slow-paced, defensive-minded Magic team leaves plenty to be desired. I wouldn’t say Malik Monk or Keegan Murray are bad targets given their secure roles, but both have wide ranges of outcomes.

Orlando Magic (vs. SAC): This is a solid on-paper spot for the Magic, whose 110.25 implied team total is about a half-point south of their season average. Gary Harris is questionable, which isn’t big news for an otherwise healthy roster. Cole Anthony is always a playable dart throw value with a high-usage role off the bench, but I certainly won’t be building my night around the outcome of Cole Anthony in GPPs. Paolo Banchero is a better value on FanDuel with his $8,800 salaries on both sites (higher cap on FD), while it looks like a fairly cheap Wendell Carter ($5,300) could attract some ownership on DraftKings. As usual, it’s hard to get too excited about anything with Orlando.
