Team Previews
Portland Trail Blazers (at CLE): We kick off the 9-game slate with the Blazers, who are 12-point underdogs against the Cavaliers. This is a tough matchup and they are playing on the road. The size of the slate and the health of their roster doesn’t help the cause. Malcolm Brogdon, Deandre Ayton, and Jerami Grant have played well at times this season, but I will take my chances with a full fade of the Blazers tonight.
Cleveland Cavaliers (vs. POR): The Cavaliers will be without Dean Wade again, but are otherwise at full strength. They draw a below-average matchup against the Blazers, who are ranked 23rd in pace and 15th in defensive rating. This isn’t exactly a great spot for either team. We’ll see a little ownership flow to Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, but they are secondary options on this slate.
