NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Thursday, November 9th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
I have one word for last night’s slate — WOOF!
Between pre-game injuries that led us to bad plays, blowouts in games that had low spreads, and in-game injuries to key players of the slate, it was one of those nights where I closed the laptop early. Well technically, I sweat the games on my phone and worked on the NFL Grind Down article between the Bears and Panthers tonight, so I supposed I put the phone in the pocket and opened up the laptop early last night. Ultimately, you get what I’m trying to say — last night’s slate was absolutely brutal.
After being cooped up in the house the last week, I’m finally back out in the wild. While I love this time of year for sports, I absolutely hate the weather. Is there something to the thought that the older you get, the more you hate being cold? I live in Utah, so snow is right around the corner and it gets dark at like 5:15. If I didn’t have so many roots here, I would love to move to a warmer climate. I’m starting to think last night’s slate put me in a bad mood. As my little man would say, I’m acting sus right now.
Let’s turn that around and take a look at tonight’s 2-game slate.

Team Previews
Milwaukee Bucks (at IND): The Bucks are coming off of a win against the Pistons and they did it without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the second half. He was ejected for dunking on a player and giving the ‘too small’ gesture. How dare we let these players celebrate and drum up more interest in the game? Giannis should be well rested for tonight’s game against the Pacers, who are ranked 2nd in pace and 26th in defensive rating this season. The Bucks have an implied total of 123 points, which is the highest of the slate and 5.9 points above their season average. Giannis is a priority for me on this slate and if you are looking for value, Jae Crowder has scored at least 22 fantasy points in three straight games.
