Core Plays LIVE: NBA DFS Picks for Tuesday, March 26th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Tuesday!
It’s Day 2 of Spring Break in my household. The first one went better than expected. My little one spent most of the day playing video games, but I broke it up with a few small activities, including a dare game where we had to run in the snow without socks or shoes on. Luckily, his grandma was able to help out and took him to her house for a few hours. It really does take a village to raise a child. I told him I would take him to a trampoline park today, so hopefully, they have good enough WiFi to get some work done. And for tomorrow, our friends rented an Airbnb in St. George (about a 4-hour drive south from here) and invited us to stay, so we’ll see if we make the trip. I tend to overdo it as a parent in these situations, but it’s all worth it. He’s the absolute best.
As for tonight’s slate, we only have 4 games on the schedule. There are two teams playing in the front half of a back-to-back (Warriors, Thunder) and two teams playing in the second half of a back-to-back (Mavericks, Kings). FanDuel and DraftKings did not take the late game off their main slates, which certainly helps on the roster construction front.

Team Previews
Golden State Warriors (at MIA): We kick off tonight’s slate with the Warriors, who are in danger of falling out of the playoff picture. It didn’t seem possible a few weeks ago, but the Rockets have rattled off 9 straight wins, and the Warriors have lost 6 of their last 10 games. All of a sudden, there’s only a single loss separating these two teams. Tonight, Golden State heads to Miami to take on the Heat, who are 29th in pace and 8th in defensive rating. The Warriors are small favorites but are projected to score 8.6 points fewer than their season average, which is the worst mark on the slate. Based on early projections, this might be the least appealing team on the slate. There’s not a single player in the projections with an RGValue better than -2.2. The slate is small enough that you can mix and match a few Warriors in tournaments, but I’m fine with a full fade in cash games and small-field contests.
Miami Heat (vs. GSW): The Heat have lost 6 of their last 10 games and have dropped to 7th in the Eastern Conference standings. There are currently 3 teams in the conference with 32 losses, so the Heat can realistically finish anywhere from 6th to 8th in the East. Tonight, they host the Warriors, who are 11th in pace and 18th in defensive rating. The Heat are listed as 2-point underdogs and have the lowest team total on the slate. Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Josh Richardson have been ruled out, while Jaime Jaquez, Caleb Martin, and Kevin Love are listed as questionable. Jimmy Butler did not participate in shootaround and is dealing with an illness, so we’ll have to keep an eye on his status as well. The matchup is decent enough, and the Heat are playing at home, so they could be a solid team to target, depending on their injuries. With this being the first game on the slate, I’ll give a thorough update once we get their final injury report.
