NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Tuesday, November 14th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
We are officially nine days away from Thanksgiving and 35-ish days away from Christmas. It’s the best time of year, so I’m going to do my best to get out of our little DFS bubble in order to make some memories with the ones that mean the most to me. Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean I won’t be grinding every NFL and NBA slate, but perhaps trying to check my phone a little less often once the slates lock. You don’t just get DFS advice here in the Core Plays article, you get life advice as well.
We have quite the slate on tap this evening. There are 10 games on the schedule and not a single team is playing in the second half of a back-to-back. You would think this would lead to fewer injuries, but you would be mistaken. And honestly, we know better. Joel Embiid, Trae Young, Keldon Johnson, Stephen Curry, and LeBron James are just some of the names that we need to monitor throughout the course of the day. Let’s dive into it, shall we?

Team Previews
Miami Heat (at CHA): The Heat got off to a shaky start this season, but have rattled off five wins in a row. They have all the pieces needed to contend for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. They draw a premier matchup tonight against the Hornets, who are ranked 4th in pace and dead last in defensive rating. Charlotte has also struggled to defend the three-point line. The Heat’s implied total is 4.5 points higher than their season average. Bam Adebayo is projecting very well (especially on DraftKings) after topping 50 fantasy points in four of his last five games.
