NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Tuesday, October 31st

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Halloween everyone!
Like many, my son’s school let the kids wear their costumes today and they had a big parade for all of the parents. Perhaps I should soften my stance on Halloween because all of those kids had an absolute blast. Come to think of it, I’m not sure I have an issue with the holiday at all. I’m just not a fan of horror movies and haunted houses. Paying others to scare you or to watch something that scares you has always been a curious move in my eyes.
The only thing more scary than horror movies is the dating scene at my age. Well fine, I haven’t even tried yet, but I hear horror stories, especially in my neck of the woods. Utah isn’t exactly buzzing with single people over the age of 30. In fact, I was the last of my friends to get married and I was 25 when I got hitched. We should rename this article “The Inner Workings of Noto” because I am getting sidetracked.
Oh right, we are here to talk about basketball. We have a small three-game slate on tap tonight. Before we get to the team previews, I wanted to hit on the James Harden trade. While it didn’t cost as much as expected to bring in Harden, this is a strange move on the basketball front. Last I checked, there was only one basketball in play at a time. I can’t wait to see how Russell Westbrook, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Harden are going to play together.

Team Previews
New York Knicks (at CLE): Much like last year, I expect the Knicks to beat a lot of good teams and to lose to a lot of bad teams. They are the Knicks, this is what they do. They are 1-2 on the season, but catch the Cavaliers at an opportune time. Cleveland will be without at least two of their best players. This was one of the worst possible matchups last season, but the Cavaliers are 14th in pace and 24th in defensive rating in the early going of this season. I’m a little higher on the Knicks than the projections, but it’s worth noting that there isn’t a single positive RG Value on FanDuel or DraftKings.
