Core Plays LIVE: NBA DFS Picks for Wednesday, April 10th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Happy Wednesday everyone!
While my mind is on tonight’s NBA slate, my heart lies with the Masters. The best golf tournament on the planet starts tomorrow. If you want to get in on the action, there are plenty of ways to do it. We have more DFS content than you can imagine, some free and some premium. We have bets posted at ScoresAndOdds, both outrights and a made cut parlay that we made as a group in the golf channel in the RG Discord. We have everything you could possibly need to get you prepared for the year’s first major.
As far as the NBA slate, there are 8 games on the schedule. Nearly every team in the league played last night, so there are naturally going to be a lot of back-to-back situations. In fact, I counted 14 teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back tonight (Grizzlies, Hornets, Hawks, Raptors, Mavericks, Heat, Magic, Bucks, Spurs, Thunder, Wolves, Nuggets, Suns, Clippers). FanDuel and DraftKings are on the same page today, as they are both rolling out a 6-game main slate.
Let’s get right into it.

Team Previews
Memphis Grizzlies (at CLE): We kick off the slate with the Grizzlies, who have the longest injury report that I have ever seen from an NBA team. They essentially have a full active roster ruled out for tonight’s game against the Cavaliers. To make matters worse, they are playing on the road and facing one of the best defensive teams in the league. The Grizzlies are 18.5-point underdogs and have a total that is 8.4 points below their season average. If you need to know the particulars of who the Grizzlies are missing, check out The Situation Room. Despite a difficult matchup, there’s still a lot of value here. Jordan Goodwin, Zavier Simpson, and Scotty Pippen should dominate backcourt minutes and usage, while Trey Jemison and Gregory Jackson should dominate the frontcourt minutes. I’m sure more players will get added, but we currently only have projections for six players on Memphis.
Cleveland Cavaliers (vs. MEM): The Cavaliers have lost 7 of their last 10 games and are now tied with the Magic for the 4th seed in the East. They should be able to pick up a win against the Grizzlies, who just called me to see if I could suit up for them tonight. The Cavaliers are massive favorites and have a team total that is 3.5 points above their season average. On the injury front, Dean Wade, Ty Jerome, and Sam Merrill are all expected to miss tonight’s game. With all of their key players expected active and an 18.5-point spread, I’m not itching to force anyone from the Cavaliers into my DFS lineups. For large-field tournaments, I suppose we can give a look to Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen.
