NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Wednesday, November 15th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
The growing rivalry between the Wolves and Warriors is turning into must-watch television. Less than two minutes into the game last night, we had three ejections. When someone truly believes in something and goes all out for it, we have to applaud the effort. The second that skirmish started, Draymond Green saw his opportunity and took it. He wasn’t even involved in the pushing, but ran up to Rudy Gobert, jumped up, and secured the headlock.
I’ve seen a lot happen in the NBA over the years, but this was something else. The slow-motion replay of Green dragging wide-eyed Gobert backwards in a headlock is too good. I certainly don’t condone the behavior and think he deserves a lengthy suspension, but life is a lot better when you laugh. And this is coming from someone that had the over on Jaden McDaniels rebound prop, so the play potentially cost me a decent sum of money.
We now turn our attention to tonight’s 8-game slate. This is the Goldilocks of NBA DFS slates — not too small, not too large, but just the right size. We have seven games playing in the second half of a back-to-back and that usually means a lot players on the injury report. Based on a quick scan of the Situation Room, my assumptions appear to be correct.

Team Previews
Dallas Mavericks (at WAS): We start the slate off with the Mavericks, who were shellacked by the short-handed Pelicans last night. If there was ever a bounce-back spot, this would be it. The Wizards are 1st in pace and 25th in defensive rating this season. Outside of last night’s game, Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic have both been playing good basketball. On a per-dollar basis, Irving has actually been the better of the two recently (45+ fantasy points in three of his last five games). Both are strong options in this matchup and I don’t mind looking to Dereck Lively as a tournament flier against the worst rebounding team in the NBA.
