NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Wednesday, November 8th

A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career, and Noto will mix it up in all different types of contests. So, who better to walk you through the madness of an NBA DFS slate? Core Plays LIVE will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, you’ve come to the right place.
Whether you tried your hand at another sport or took the night off from DFS, I hope everyone enjoyed the one night break from the association.
With Halloween in the rearview mirror, we now get to look forward to my favorite two holidays — Thanksgiving and Christmas. My friends decided to try out “Friendsgiving” this year (at least this is the first year to my knowledge) and they decided to make it a no-kids party. While I love my little man more than anything in this world, I’m excited to hang out with my friends after 9:00 PM. I’m even planning to take an Uber to really maximize my fun that evening.
So yeah, Saturday night should be fun. I’ll have to build my NFL lineups in advance because there’s a good chance I’ll be hurting come Sunday morning. You know what hurts just as much as a bad hangover? A 14-game NBA slate and that’s exactly what we have in store this evening. My hope is that since there weren’t any games yesterday that there won’t be as many injury updates throughout the day, but even I know that is just a pipe dream.

Team Previews
Washington Wizards (at CHA): The first of many team breakdowns belongs to the Wizards. They are an elite matchup for opponents and a nightmare for DFS players because of how inconsistent they are as a team and as individuals. Tonight they face the Hornets, who are 4th in pace and 27th in defensive rating. Strictly from a numbers perspective, this is the best game environment on the slate when it comes to fantasy production. The projections actually like Washington here, but I would not trust them in a cash game setting. Unless we are dealing with a small slate, they should only be targeted in tournaments.
