POINT GUARD
Kyrie Irving – $9,000 – With LeBron James unlikely to suit up again tonight, expect the Kyrie Irving show to continue. He scored an NBA season-high 55 points the other night and should be in line for another fine performance against the up-tempo Kings. The price tag is starting to rise, but with a super high floor and a 75 point ceiling, Kyrie makes a great high-end play assuming LeBron is out.
Michael Carter-Williams – $8,200 – His usage should be safe for the rest of the year with Tony Wroten out, and the performance should follow with the right matchups. He’s definitely a player I like to target on a matchup-specific basis given the inefficient nature of his overall game. Even though Minnesota has had some success against point guards this year, Mo Williams is not an elite defender. The Wolves also play at a fast pace, and this game should be much higher scoring than the first meeting between these two teams. Fire up MCW with confidence this evening.
SHOOTING GUARD
Kevin Martin – $4,600 – Here’s your must play of the night. Kevin Martin played almost 30 minutes in his return for the last game, gets a matchup against the Sixers, and is priced about $2,000 cheaper than he was before his injury. This is simply a plug and play for all your DraftKings lineups tonight, especially in your cash games.
DeMar DeRozan – $6,900 – It appears as though DeRozan has shaken off the rest from missing a few games, and his performance has been much better this week. His price remains discounted on DraftKings at just $6,900, and that makes him an attractive target for your cash games tonight. He has a neutral matchup against the Nets, but this is simply a price-based play for me.
