John Wall – Wall has the unique combination of a depressed price and a favorable matchup. His production has been down a bit recently, causing his price to fall a bit on Aces. A matchup against the Sixers at home might be just what the doctor ordered for his recent slump. The Sixers have allowed the seventh most fantasy points to point guards this season and Wall is averaging over 40 fantasy points per game at home.
Klay Thompson – Klay is heating up. After scoring 32 points against the Thunder, he followed it up with 27 points against the Rockets. He has averaged 38 fantasy points per game over his last six. He squares off against Nuggets, who have allowed the sixth most fantasy points to shooting guards this season.
Mo Williams – Williams’ time as a starter is coming to an end very soon, but we can still target him as long as Ricky Rubio is out. Williams has really played well as the starting point guard this season, averaging 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 8 assists per game. His 52-point outburst last week has caused a slight bump in his price, but he’s still in play here, especially considering the fact that Kemba Walker is not expected to play.
Forward
LeBron James – There is a ton of value available today, which makes it easy to fit a superstar into your lineup. It can be unnerving rostering a Cavaliers’ player, but LeBron has looked terrific since returning from injury. He has been very aggressive offensive and has scored at least 46 fantasy points in each of his last three games. LeBron is looking like the top player to pay up for today.
