POINT GUARD
Brian Roberts – $4,600 – Roberts should have a strangle-hold on the starting point guard job with Kemba Walker out of commission. He wasn’t great the other night and wasn’t needed in the fourth quarter due to the blowout, so don’t get caught up in the decreased minutes. He should be better in this one against a Washington team that may be without John Wall and his various ailments this evening.
Devin Harris – $3,100 – This will probably be one of the most popular plays tonight. Rajon Rondo has already been ruled out, and that means that Harris should start at point guard and play significant minutes. He logged 30 minutes on Saturday and put up a respectable 21 DraftKings points, and tonight also provides a solid matchup against a Minnesota team that plays at a quick tempo and doesn’t play much defense.
SHOOTING GUARD
Kevin Martin – $5,100 – Martin moved back into the starting lineup and played a full complement of minutes in the last game. He should be good to go at 100% moving forward, and he is still way too cheap on DraftKings. The Dallas/Minnesota game projects to be one of the highest scoring contests of the night, so fire up Martin with confidence as long as he is in the bargain bin salary category.
Lance Stephenson – $4,600 – He is obviously having a down season, but there’s still plenty of upside to be had with Lance Stephenson, especially with Kemba Walker out. He logged 30 minutes and handed out 12 assists in the last game, and the Hornets are asking him to handle the ball more now. Stephenson makes a great risk/reward play for your tournament games on this Monday.
