Thursday, March 5
Point Guard
Rajon Rondo ($5,400) – Rajon Rondo’s transition to the Dallas Mavericks has been a complete mess. He now sits at the bargain price of just $5,400, which is tough to fathom. Anyhow, Rondo broke out with a 19 actual point performance on Monday in 32 minutes of action. His price requires around 27 fantasy points, which seems very feasible from this former superstar.
Aaron Brooks ($4,800) – While Russell Westbrook has been on an absolute offensive tear, he has been giving it up to opposing point guards. Last night against the 76ers, Westbrook gave up a career performance to Isaiah Canaan of 31 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. With all the injuries to the Chicago Bulls, Brooks will be asked to do more on the offensive end of the court. I like him to have solid performance tonight.
Shooting Guard
Dion Waiters ($4,000) – Like a lot of other NBA players who suited up for last night’s ridiculous fantasy basketball slate, Dion Waiters is coming off an excellent performance `of 34.5 fantasy points. His shot finally started falling last night and the end result was impressive. He is a safe player to target until KD returns.
Tony Snell ($3,800) – Tony Snell was relatively unimpressive in 40 minutes of action on Wednesday night. As we’ve come to learn in NBA DFS, minutes typically equals production, therefore Snell is a strong bargain option tonight for this reason. Shooting guard as an excellent spot to go ahead and save some of your salary cap.
