Point Guard
Devin Harris ($4,600) – Keep an eye out for the status of Jameer Nelson – if he happen to miss tonight’s game due to injury, Devin Harris becomes a near must play. However, ever if Nelson does plays, Harris makes for a great bargain play on Thursday. Harris has played consistent minutes all season and has performed quite well (averaging ten points, two rebounds, five assists). The Mavericks will be matched up with one of the worst defenses in the leagues, the Philadelphia 76ers. Dallas is favored by 13 in this game – if the game turns into a blowout, Harris will be in line for some extra playing time.
Ramon Sessions ($3,900) – Here is another situation where it will be important to monitor an injury status. If Darren Collison sit out tonight, Sessions would make for a great plat at just $3,900. In Collison’s absence last game, Sessions played 36 minutes and scored 18 actual points.
Shooting Guard
Tony Allen ($4,800) – Tony Allen has been playing quite well for the Grizzlies – his minutes are consistently in the upper twenties. His aggression on the court leads to many scrappy rebounds and steals. For this reason, Allen provides a relatively high floor in regards to his price tag.
Courtney Lee ($5,300) – Courtney Lee has been flying under the DFS radar for a while now. He continues to log heavy minutes (averaging over 35) and has been producing very decently (averaging 25 fantasy points). He plays at a position, shooting guard, which is commonly very difficult to fill on a nightly basis. Lee is a very low-risk play.
