Point Guard

Brandon Knight – Knight is likely the “safest” play of this two game slate. He’s a top option on offense and the Bucks will be playing up in pace against a Phoenix team that has struggled to contain opposing guards. The Bucks are likely in the best spot tonight, but given Knight is one of the only consistencies in the rotation, he’s the safest Buck for cash game use. Additionally, if you’re not using Knight for cash games, you’re going to have to pick one of Brandon Jennings and Tony Parker, which isn’t something I’m prepared to do.

Goran Dragic – Dragic has been very consistent lately, and while the upside isn’t really there and the matchup is tough, I trust him more than I trust Jennings or Parker. He’s the least likely to dud of the three, and for that reason alone is a solid cash game choice.

Shooting Guard

Eric Bledsoe – I’d force Bledsoe into cash game lineups as he’s the only option I have any confidence in. Giannis has been good lately, but he’s still young and capable of getting into foul trouble and posting a very low score. We saw Ginobili’s floor in his last game, which isn’t terribly encouraging for cash game use either. You’re going to have to pick one of those two on FanDuel, but at least lock in the easy points with Bledsoe.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – I almost put Ginobili so I didn’t have to type Giannis’s name. Seriously though, I’m going to side with the guy that gets more minutes and is playing up in pace. I also feel like the return of Patrick Mills is going to have a slightly negative impact on Ginobili. The last time those two shared the court against the Wizards, it was Mills that was chucking up all of the shots. With another legitimate scorer on the court, Ginobili won’t have to do quite as much. Also, the return of Tony Parker is likely going to cut into his production somewhat as well. Giannis is a risk, but on a two game slate, you really can’t make a lineup with taking a risk. At least the matchup is very good.
