NBA Expert Picks Preview: Wednesday, Feb. 4th

Wednesday, February 4th
Point Guard
Russell Westbrook ($10,600) – Kevin Durant is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game, therefore playing Russell Westbrook is a must. This is a situation that does not require much thinking. Westbrook has an insane usage rate without KD and in a game that should stay close (NO -3), the potential for another monster game is on the horizon. Not much to say here… Play Westbrook, if KD is out.
J.J. Barea ($3,400) – Barea got the start for Rondo and will presumably continue to play that role moving forward. With Devin Harris also listed as questionable, Barea could be in line for some big minutes. On Monday night, he logged 29 minutes of action and finished with 26.5 fantasy points. Barea is an excellent value play tonight and has the potential to enter must play territory if Harris is ruled out.
Shooting Guard
Jimmy Butler ($7,500) – The Chicago Bulls are in a great spot tonight. They will be playing way up in pace as Houston ranks as the fourth-fastest team in the NBA. The Rockets will also be without Dwight Howard, which means this game should remain relatively close (HOU -2.5). The game is set with an over/under of 204.5 indicating a potentially high-scoring affair. Butler has a very solid price on DK at just $7,500 as well.
Avery Bradley ($4,200) – Avery Bradley has been logging heavy minutes and producing quite well lately. He has played at least 32 minutes in four straight games and has produced at least 23 fantasy points on three occasions. The DEN/BOS has an appealing over/under of 200.5 with Boston favored by 2.5. Denver has not been playing much defensive as of late and have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards on the season.
Small Forward
