Game 3 (Cleveland at Golden State)
Can Cleveland win at home with LeBron James carrying the load? We’ll find out tonight as they look to avoid falling behind 3-0 to the Golden State Warriors. I’ve included the game flow history for the two teams, minutes history and projections, and projections for FanDuel and DraftKings. I removed the team history in blowout situations, but have included a link to my article for Game 1 that includes it with analysis of how to use that information.
The big news is the increased role (from nonexistent) that Rodney Hood is expected to see. Tyronn Lue has stated he will be a more active part of the Cavaliers rotation. I expect him to be a popular play given this news and the fact that it came out well in advance of the game, but that said he’s minimum price on DraftKings and $3,000 on FanDuel so I think the best approach is to just go all in on him and be overweight compared to the field (he will be in every single lineup I make on DK tonight). Andre Iguodola is questionable – the team is hopeful he can play. I am going to project that he is playing, but if he doesn’t then the minutes should fall back to how they looked in the first two games of the series (included in the minutes history).
